This panel explored the question of real and artificial borders between mission and discipleship as well as reflected on the question: “What does it mean to love the Jewish people?” All panel participants shared their experience and perspectives on Jewish Ministry.
- Laura Barron and her husband Andrew, are pioneers of the first overseas branch of Jews for Jesus in South Africa. Laura is a missionary involved in regular outreach in Toronto and around the world. She also does editing work, special projects and events.
- Shari Haynes brings insight into God’s love for Jewish people. She’s worked with ICEJ (International Christian Embassy Jerusalem) and Chosen People Ministries and is now with Christian Friends of Israel (Canada). Recently home from CFI work in Israel, she teaches God’s Word and heart for His people.
- Dr. Alan Shore is a Jewish believer who, as National Ministry Representative for Chosen People Ministries, serves the Lord by speaking in churches, presenting a variety of messages that stress the Jewish roots of Christian faith. In 2016, Alan completed his PhD in Modern Jewish History and Culture.
- Howard Andres (panel facilitator), served in Asia for 21 years in Christian publishing, holistic ministry to Muslims, and field leadership. He has a keen interest in seeing the gospel reach the hearts of people of other faiths and of no faith.
